    What is The Aardvark Project?
The Aardvark Project is a collective art project with no end. We are gathering artwork from anyone interested with the common theme of "aardvarks". One of the main components of The Aardvark Project is "Pimp My Aardvark". To participate in PMA all you have to do is use your creativity to alter and photograph one of our little rubber aardvarks.

What do I have to do to join The Aardvark Project?
To join, ll you have to do is be creative. Create an aardvark, pimp an aardvark, photograph an aardvark, or just take one traveling. Everyone is welcome.

How do I get an aardvark of my very own?
There are a couple ways to get your own aardvark. The easiest way is to buy one from our store. If you are a starving artist and can't afford to buy an aardvark, you can use the request button above to be put on the starving artist list. When we have extra money or find sponsors we mail out aardvarks to those on the list in the order we received them. Lastly, you can link us on your blog, web page, etc. and help us spread the word, then let us know and we will send ou an aardvark to pimp or travel with.

How do I submit my project?
Once you have finished your project, you just have to send us photos. You can email them to us or submit them directly to the gallery.

    When is Aardvark Day?
    August 8.

    What's the deal with "ifoundtheaardvark.com"?
Since 1992 The Wanderer newspaper in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts has been hiding a small cartoon aardvark in each edition of the newspaper. Readers who find the aardvark can send in entries to win ardvark related items. The Wanderer is a major sponsor of the Aardvark Project.

How do you get on the starving artist list?

Why can't I post photos in the photo gallery?
You can balme the spambots. We had to protect the photo gallery, so should you want to post photos you can do it two ways. You can create an account in the photo gallery and we will authorize it once we verify you, or you can email them using the contact us link at the top of the page and we'll add them. Please include a title and description fith your photo and a link if you like.
